Peggy Russell, LVT
I started 4-H at the age of 9. I had many hobbies and projects in my years of 4-H. They ranged from sewing and gardening to animals. I have been working in the veterinary field since 2004. I graduated from Alfred State in 2008 for veterinary technology. I have thought about specializing, but it is hard to pick just one area. I do have an interest in dentistry. I have a houseful at home. My family ranges from my husband and son to 2 Bernese Mountain dogs, a pug, a terrier mix, a chihuahua and 2 cats. I joined the team at Broadway Animal Hospital in August 2016.
Julie Schreiber, LVT
Since I was a small child, I always wanted to work with animals. However, as a young adult, I took a different career path. As my four
children grew older, I decided to go back to school and I pursued a career in veterinary medicine. I graduated from Alfred State in 2007 and have worked as a veterinary technician for 9 years. I love my job, but my true passion is rescue-from orphaned kittens to a three-legged chicken.

Taranicole (Cuppie) Drane
Technician Assistant & Client Relations Specialist
At a very young age, Taranicole wanted to work in the animal field. Her love for animals and nature runs through her blood. As a young girl, she would play in the woods with any animal she could capture and try to keep it as a pet for as long as she could until getting in trouble. Taranicole started her career as a certified medical assistant at age 18. Her passion for helping animals and people is what led her to start in the veterinary field. Tarnicole was trained in Virginia and South Carolina as a Vet Tech Assistant/Exam Room Assistant, and Receptionist and has worked in these positions for many years, with an ongoing passion to continue learning about vet medicine. Fourteen years ago, Taranicole successfully started a pet sitting business after moving back to New York. Most recently, she planted her feet with an amazing team of doctors, technicians, and receptionists at Broadway Animal Hospital. Tarnicole is grateful to enjoy life with her three dogs- Cooper, LuLu, and Royal, and two cats- Tyke and Charlotte.
