Julie Schreiber, LVT
Since I was a small child, I always wanted to work with animals. However, as a young adult, I took a different career path. As my four
children grew older, I decided to go back to school and I pursued a career in veterinary medicine. I graduated from Alfred State in 2007 and have worked as a veterinary technician for 9 years. I love my job, but my true passion is rescue-from orphaned kittens to a three-legged chicken.
Abigail Engel, LVT
Abby always knew she wanted to join the medical field. However, it wasn’t until she was in college studying nursing, did she learn that she wanted to work with animals. She graduated from Genesee Community College in 2015 with her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology. Abby joined the Broadway Animal Hospital Team in November 2016 and enjoys providing great service to each client and patient. She has 3 furry children: Sasha, a Rottweiler mix; Minnie and Sadie, 2 cats; and Geronimo, a hermit crab.

Taranicole (Cuppie) Drane
Technician Assistant & Client Relations Specialist
At a very young age, Taranicole wanted to work in the animal field. Her love for animals and nature runs through her blood. As a young girl, she would play in the woods with any animal she could capture and try to keep it as a pet for as long as she could until getting in trouble. Taranicole started her career as a certified medical assistant at age 18. Her passion for helping animals and people is what led her to start in the veterinary field. Tarnicole was trained in Virginia and South Carolina as a Vet Tech Assistant/Exam Room Assistant, and Receptionist and has worked in these positions for many years, with an ongoing passion to continue learning about vet medicine. Fourteen years ago, Taranicole successfully started a pet sitting business after moving back to New York. Most recently, she planted her feet with an amazing team of doctors, technicians, and receptionists at Broadway Animal Hospital. Tarnicole is grateful to enjoy life with her three dogs- Cooper, LuLu, and Royal, and two cats- Tyke and Charlotte.
April has had a love for animals from a very young age and has worked with them for the last 16 years. She recently joined the Broadway Animal Hospital Team and could not be happier. She shares her home with her husband, sons, dogs, and five cats.
